Memorial and Outstanding Service Gifts
- Commemorating a life through a memorial gift:
- An increasing number of people are suggesting donations to Woodland Retirement Community in lieu of flowers.
- Others are contributing assets that are no longer needed such as life insurance or retirement account balances.
- Acknowledging Outstanding Service by a member or specific members of our staff or volunteers by making a donation in their name.

- Donating toward an item on our “Wish List,” which fall under several categories:
Resident quality of life
- New Electric Beds - $2,000 each
- New Multipurpose Room Addition
- Facility “face lift” – any amount
- Paint
- Artwork
- Activities room - $7,000 – includes paint, carpet, upgrade furniture
- New drinking glasses for the dining room
Energy efficiencies
- Auto on/off lights in rest rooms and other common areas – any amount
- Window replacement - $1,200 / window
Environmental stewardship
- Recycling efforts - $50/month
- Landscaping – any amount
